Senior Accountant Required in London

We are seeking an experienced Senior GL Accountant to provide interim coverage (2–3 months) for our clients General Ledger team supporting a number subsidiaries in France. This is a fully remote full-time contract role

Experience with Sage, French language skills at B2 level and being based in the EU/UK with right to work is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support monthly close activities
Prepare and reverse accruals
Reconcile prepaid expenses
Review and validate income statement accounts
Perform bank reconciliations
Conduct balance sheet reviews
Support intercompany reconciliations in collaboration with international teams

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior GL Accountant
Strong hands-on experience with Sage (mandatory)
Fluent French (minimum B2 level) and English
Strong understanding of month-end close processes and reconciliations
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Contract Details:

Duration: 2–3 months (interim cover)
Location: Remote
Start: Immediate / ASAP preferred
Rate: €50-60/hour
