This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end accounting operations within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will manage financial processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at every stage. Working closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in maintaining robust financial systems while driving process improvements. The position blends operational excellence with innovation, including exposure to automation and AI-driven financial analysis. You’ll also contribute to building scalable accounting practices in a growing international setting. Accountabilities
Manage end-to-end payment operations, ensuring timely execution, reconciliation, and compliance with internal controls
Oversee pre-accounting processes, validating and approving financial data before external accounting review
Maintain accurate general ledger records and produce financial statements across multiple jurisdictions
Lead monthly and annual closing processes, including reconciliations and coordination with external partners
Handle intercompany accounting activities, including transfer pricing documentation and compliance
Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards (e.g., HGB, IFRS) and support regulatory and tax requirements
Drive automation and optimization of accounting workflows and financial systems
Support audit processes and prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses
Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality output and professional development
Requirements
5+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally in an international or fast-growing environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including intercompany accounting and multi-entity structures
Experience with financial tools and expense management systems (e.g., Moss, Ramp, or similar)
Familiarity with HGB, IFRS, and cross-border financial compliance requirements
Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, accuracy-driven mindset
Hands-on approach with the ability to manage both operational and strategic tasks
Interest in automation, AI tools, and improving financial workflows
Experience working with distributed teams and adapting to dynamic environments
Knowledge or interest in crypto and digital asset accounting is an advantage
